Fitness & Wellness Professional Services, LLC (F&WPS)
was formed to provide fitness and wellness services for the
advancement of the community’s health and well-being.
Partnering with hospitals to deliver full-service, hospital
affiliated fitness and wellness centers has been determined
to be the preferred approach to achieve the mission.
F&WPS not only provides its time-tested expertise but
contributes capital along with its hospital joint venture
partner. The equity structure of the relationship engenders
aligned interests and promotes the economic well being of
the enterprise. Additionally, a host of collateral benefits
accrue to the health care provider.
Gary Reidy- Mr. Reidy is one of the founding
managing members of Bayshore Fitness & Wellness Center
Hazlet, Bayshore Fitness & Wellness Center Old Bridge,
Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center, and RWJ Hamilton
Center for Health & Wellness and has been instrumental
to their success. Prior to his present position, Mr. Reidy
owned and operated Lifestyle Fitness Centers, highly successful
health clubs located throughout central and north New
Jersey from 1990 to 1998. Lifestyle Fitness sold its entire
operation on August 6, 1998. Prior to the sale, Mr. Reidy
was responsible for the start-up operations of all six
Lifestyle Clubs; hiring, management training, and sales.
Mr. Reidy also coordinated advertising and marketing activities.
Mr. Reidy is a pioneer in the industry, having implemented
wellness programming in the 1980’s. Mr. Reidy has
worked in the fitness industry for over thirty years.
Prior to 1990, he opened and operated approximately sixty
(60) fitness centers throughout the United States. Mr.
Reidy created his seed money by contracting with failing
fitness companies and turning them into profitable ventures.
Proceeding with an at risk approach he evaluated, planned
and executed “turn around” strategies with
no promise of remuneration. Once the distressed facilities
achieved profitability, Mr. Reidy received fifty (50%)
percent of the operating income. Repeated success in this
venue resulted in a substantial revenue stream for Mr.
Reidy.

& Wellness Center of Hazlet, Bayshore Fitness &
Wellness Center Old Bridge, Princeton Fitness & Wellness

the country and incorporated extensive “wellness”
programs into the Lifestyle Fitness Centers. Ms. Adelman
Banks’ experience in operations comes not only from
representing Lifestyle for six years, but she has also

opening operations, and day to day operations of their
Springfield and Parsippany facilities. Ms. Adelman Banks,
along with Mr. Reidy, developed a turnkey health and wellness
center for Saint Barnabas Health Care System’s (Livingston,
New Jersey) ambulatory care center. The center was designed
